🩷花色は柔らかなベビーピンク色で、ほのかに香るかわいいバラです。花の形もふくふくした浅めのカップ咲き（シャローカップ咲き）。ゆったり広がる花弁が素敵なバラで、次々と花を咲かせてきます。
ちなみに、名前の『ラファエル（Raphael）』は、 「癒す者」という意味を含み「治療する輝かしい人」「神の薬」の意味。イスラムの方での読みは『イスラフィール』と言い、こちらもまたアークエンジェル（大天使）の代名詞のような天使です。ミカエル、ウリエル、ガブリエルと共に４大天使の１人とされ、割と温和な性質の天使として伝えられています。
シュラブローズはブッシュローズ（木立バラ）とクライミングローズ（つるバラ）の中間的な樹形で、やや高性になるものや半つる性になるものです。鉢植えや花壇、オベリスクなど使い勝手が良いので、用途やシーンを選ばずに用いやすい品種が多いです。
